This centre demonstrates smoke-less charcoal burning, employing a slow pyrolysis system, which helps save a great amount of fuel used to burn coal and dramatically reduce the emission of greenhouse gas resulting from coal burning at 2,291.67 kg CO₂e/year. The fuel in this station comes from tree branches cut on the school premises, which is used for fuel and cooking.
