This centre emphasises preparing soil for planting and growing organic vegetables with the use of EM fertilisers and natural insect repellent obtained from fermented local fruit and grinded parts of plants. These locally-made and evironmentally-friendly byproducts are used on the school premise instead of insecticides or other chemical substances, so as to ensure safe consumption.
