Lord of mercy and love
who always protects and guides us,
we implore you today,
with confidence and trust,
grant us the intellect
to learn and understand
the subjects we are to study
throughout the day,
and help us to progress
in the knowledge of the world
and the meaning of life,
so that we will be able
to live our lives
truthfully and graciously through your love.
Lord, we also entrust
our beloved King,
our dear parents into your care.
